Dear Friends of the Section of Endoscopic, Minimally Invasive and Pediatric Robotics Surgery, this is certainly a difficult Christmas not only for us but for the whole country and I hope that we will be able to make it a happy moment in the prospect of a year free from the pandemic. As previously announced, the meeting of our Section on “Minimally Invasive Treatment of Inguinal Hernia” will be held on January 27th.
The meeting is particularly interesting as in the morning, thanks to the availability of Prof. Lima and his staff, we will be connected with the Pediatric Surgery of Bologna for a live surgery session. In the afternoon we will have a panel on the topic where in addition to Italian speakers also foreign speakers such as J.Correia-Pinto (Braga, Portugal), D. Patkowski (Wroclaw, Polland) and Todd A. Ponsky (Cincinnati, Ohio, USA), advocates of the “PIRS: percutaneous internal ring suturing” technique.
At the same time, as is customary in our section, I invite you to present your experience with short communications both on the subject and on an open topic (deadline January 15th mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org. 5 + 5 Minutes).
I share with you to follow the ZOOM link for the meeting.
In the hope of meeting you soon even if electronically, I send you many good wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
a warm greeting Alfonso Papparella
